Otsego Community Connection is a  portal site maintained by the Otsego County Library.  It
offers a wide range of unique local and regional information that area  residents need to
enhance their daily lives and allow them to actively participate in the community.

KIDS COUNT, a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a national and state-by-state
effort to track that status of children in the U.S.  By providing policymakers and citizens with
benchmarks of child well-being, KIDS COUNT seeks to enrich local, state, and national
discussions concerning ways to secure better futures for all children.

Michigan's Children is a statewide, independent voice for children and their families.  They
work with lawmakers, business leaders, and communities to make Michigan a place
where all children have the opportunity to thrive.


Community Collaboratives - To learn more about the statewide network of  collaboratives
that the Otsego Human Services Network is a part of, visit this site sponsored by the
Michigan Department of Community Health.

Bright Futures at Georgetown University is a national health promotion initiative dedicated
to the principle that every child deserves to be healthy and that optimal health involves a
trusting relationship between the health professional, the child, the family, and the
community as partners in health practice.   The Bright Futures initiative is focused at the
American Academy of Pediatrics and a collaborative of other federally- and State-funded
Bright Futures projects.
